is a non-invasive physiologic sensor company that will enable physicians, healthcare professionals, first responders, medics, patients, other care givers and consumers to quickly assess a patient’s metabolic status so that timely feedback and/or suitable therapeutic interventions can be delivered, cost effectively and with confidence.
Our platform capabilities will be deployed in hospitals, military facilities, clinician offices, clinics, patients’ homes, and through mobile devices, powered by a network of strategic marketing and distribution partners who are market leaders in each of our targeted healthcare verticals. RMI’s innovative sensor, CareGuide™, non-invasively, continuously and simultaneously monitors muscle oxygen (SmO2), muscle pH, and blood hematocrit (Hct) to assess adequacy of tissue perfusion and acid-base imbalance. These parameters, used in combination, provide an alert for life-threatening events earlier than standard patient monitoring parameters, and uniquely provide real-time information to guide the application of treatment to avoid costly and harmful patient complications.
