Dr. Babs Soller

Chief Executive Officer and President
Dr. Babs Soller received her PhD in Physical Chemistry from Princeton University studying the spectroscopy of transition metal ions. Dr. Soller transitioned from the semiconductor industry to medical applications of spectroscopy. As Professor of Anesthesiology at University of Massachusetts Medical School, her laboratory developed novel applications of near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for the continuous, noninvasive measurement of muscle oxygen, pH and blood hematocrit for purposes of monitoring and care of critically ill patients and the deconditioning of astronauts in space. Dr. Soller founded Reflectance Medical to commercialize the NIRS hardware and software.

Steve Weisner

Vice-President of Engineering
Steve Weisner has 20+ years of experience working for HP Medical, Philips Medical, Draeger Medical and Radianse. He has been responsible for strategic planning, 3rd party partnerships, clinical applications, product requirements, clinical trials, software and hardware engineering, regulatory submission for patient monitoring bedsides, telemetry and information systems and RFID device/patient tracking devices. Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering.
